6. Avoid fatty foods. You have to know that a diet that is low priority in saturated fat, low sugar, and spicy foods that will benefit you. Foods that contain high fat could trigger IBS because fat stimulates the liver to release bile and break water. Bile contains acids that can irritate a sensitive gut. Foods that can cause problems like this are fried foods, dairy foods rich in fat, fatty meats, and chocolate.
